Looks like a trip to my NAPA store.

I switched from regular old oil to this late last year and noticed a smoother running, quieter engine. Won't use anything else

Nice. I should head south and stock up!

Odd that NAPA US's regular price is the same or $1 more than Walmart Canada's regular price

I don't want to start an oil debate, but why on earth would you fill a 4.0 with synthetic?

Did some checking and found it's a good oil for the wife's 4.3 Blazer. Told her to pick up another 2 gallons and two Gold filters. So considering the oils reg price($60 for 2) I get two Gold filters ($14+) for free.

Are there any necessary steps to take when changing from conventional synthetic? Other then changing the old filter and draining old oil?

Yeah man i work at a napa in pa and cant tell you how many jeep guys ask me if its "ok" to run synthetic. I personally run napas 10w30 synthetic with a qt of lucus synthetic oil stabilizer and never had a 4.0 that ran so quiet!
