Two years ago when I was looking at buying my first AT tires they were the number one AT. Sorry, about the misinformation about the top rated AT according to Tire Rack.
.
2 years is a long time, in two years BFG has gone through 2 series of AT tires, 2 siping designs and 2 different grooving designs. And still are frowned upon by DOT testing facilities.

You dont get what you pay for, not in alot of situations. And this isnt one of them either.

I'm wondering, has anyone had a successful claim on a treadwear warranty? I'd like some tips please.

Haha yea right...try and prove that one. You would need some fantastic documentation - pictures, measurements, tire rotation receipts - and even then they would probably find a way around it.

But good luck!

Could have, don't know, don't care, they handle the trails better than any of the ATs that the people I wheel with run. That is my opinion, you have yours, and I have found that in most situations you do get what you pay for. As far as being frowned upon by DOT testing faculties goes, who cares they passed, they are DOT approved.

tread wear warranties are based on a 6000 mile rotate if you go longer than that the tread wear warranty is void
