Question T-case stud

im in the middle of my first lift. the front is done and i started the T-case drop. directions say to make a jam nut, i made a jam nut and they both move at the same time with out the stud. i tightened the S*** out of both of them and the same thing happened.
is there any easier way to do this??

Are you talking about using 2 nuts to pull the stud?

yeah, both the nuts still turn at the same time after being torqued against eachother.

Put the first one on then butt the secound one up to it. Then put an open end wrench on the first one and turn. If all else fails vise grips are your friend. Just make sure theres not alot of lube on them.

Stud Extractors!

I have both sets of Metric and Standard. These make life way easy.
