hey one more thing
i see the two seperate shafts, is the collor suspost to completly move on to the left one? or is it just suspost to kinda touch it-cuz i cant get it to slid it all the way on

It should slide over far enough to lock both shafts together.

i got a prob. i dont think its sliding far enough to the left and iv tride rolling the jeep back and forth while trying to bang it to the left but still nothin

what should it look like?

I'm getting rid of that vacume switch bs on my '88' I never liked it and I think it poses to many potential problems when you really need it.
