t case plug
I was looking over the inspection report after the dealer installed my powersteering lines...anyway in the notes it said
Missing t case plug.
Sounds bad to me but they didn't bring it up with me.. so what is it, is it bad that it's missing, where do I get a new one?

If you're looking for replacement drain/refill plugs for your TC I recommend the plugs shown on the photo below. They're available from NAPA. They will fit a 242 or a 231.

What the crap? How did a shop let you leave with a missing t-case plug?
I wouldn't ever go back there again if they let you leave with no plug in as they are probably hoping your t-case goes boom and they get paid a crap ton of money to replace it...

You must have a 242 TC. That's the plug for the hole to access the roll pin that holds the Range Fork in place. Surprised it's not puking ATF out the hole....unless the ATF level has leaked to a level below the hole.

Is there a part # for them? Or are they out in the isles?

Check your fluid level. If it's been awhile since you've changed it, now would be a good time to do it. Use the same ATF that you use in your tranny. Those drain/refill plugs I posted above would also be a good idea while you're under your Heep.
Yes, that is the part number for the plug. You should get one and install it. The last thing you want is to get $hit in your TC through that hole.
