Default Synthetic or not?

89 4.0 with 200k. Is it a good thing to switch to synthetic or stay with what's been used all along?
If switching.......any particular brand?

thanks

With that mileage I would just continue to use what you have been using.

Why change to a more expensive oil now? I would say you have had good luck with the dino squeezins, stick with it and save money.

lol....thanks. I don't have any leaks. I replaced the valve cover gasket, rear main & timing chain cover seal. Dry as a bone. (still getting used to it)

I have just read from(experts) that lots of folks have changed & wanted to hear some opinions.......

+1 The wally Supertech 15-40 is good high zinc oil and very similar to Rotella.
The 4.0 loves both. When hundreds of 4.0s are getting over 300k with dino why would you want anything else?
