Incorrect, the fulcrum of the engine and transmission are the motor mounts. The are directly above the front axle. Simple geometry, imagine the wide end of a triangle making it's way to the point of contact at the tip of the triangle, AKA the t-case, now pull that point down the same amount in scale that it would take place on a Jeep when installing a t-case drop. You can draw this on paper and see what I'm referring to. It actually makes the angle less, but a lot of folks think it does the opposite. HTH clear up a few things. Peace out!!

Any vibration after the lift should be looked at closely. 3 inches of lift should not need a sye. The atached pics are from my brothers XJ. It's a 95 with about 6 inches of lift. He bought it the was it is and had bad vibrations all through the driveline. Both driveshafts had rock rash so he romoved the front and reduced the vibs, then replaced the rear but it was to late. Only two weeks after buying it the tcase exploded on the interstate from the internal damage caused by the excessive vibration. This is what he found after he pulled over and crawled under it.

This hurts to look at. I'm not going to sleep well tonight.

When I saw these photos it was worse then watching a truly scary movie, my heart skipped a beat, I got a knot in my stomach, and I had a hard time breathing for a minute.

I have a 3 inch lift, and there is vibration but only at high speeds and it isn't bad (not compared to some I've felt). My TC isn't going to explode is it? I don't think I could handle that :/

I've got about 7" in the rear, a 5" spring and about 2" in shackle, and no driveline vibes. Drive it and see what happens. Also take note of your pinion angle, remeber, its not just the tcase angle to be wary of. My 8.8 is about 16° up from 90, and as I said no vibes with a stock Ds. If it does vibe, get the sye, don't Dick around with the tcase drops, they kinda defeat the purpose of your lift- ground clearance. And they're really just a band aid untill you get an sye.
