Default SYE with no lift?

hey guys - new to the forum...I just got an 01 XJ and its completely stock. I'd like to add a lift probably (3.5" - 4.5") within the next few weeks but def. wanna add a SYE to keep down on vibes and save my t-case.. Would it be possible for me to install the SYE before the lift - just so its one less step I have to do in the future??

Thanks

so if i throw a SYE on a stock driveshaft at stock height and then lift it, you think the driveshaft will end up being too short?

I am running with a 4.5" lift kit, an no SYE.
I don't have any drive line vibrations, but my lift included a new transmission mount that actually lowered my T-case about an inch, and I am using 3 degree shims on my rear leafs to re-angle the pumpkin.

SYE are nice, but not a requirement, till you get over 4.5 inches of lift.
My lift uses all stock length drive shafts as well. It's by Rusty's.
Save some money, and do some more research before spending any $$.

all jeeps react differently to lifts. some of the newer heeps need one to just go up to 3" and other dont need one until you get to 4.5 or higher.

doing it right means putting an SYE on. ive been running without one (no tcase drop either, but i have a 242 case.... SYE is going in over winter break) but i messed up my stock shaft and it vibes all fancy now.

anyway, get a SYE from performance off road center (cheapest, same as everyone else's) and run a stock front DS from a cherokee back there. itll fit fine stock.
