Default SYE kit chain assembly

i have recently bought a sye kit and am having trouble assembling it back together. I have the main shaft all assembled and put in the transfer case but i am having a problem putting the chain on. Are there any tricks to this?

Drop the shaft assembly down with the chain attached.

I was able to install the main shaft and chain without removing the front output. You'll need to slant the mainshaft to slip the chain over front output and then straighten to drop the mainshaft in fully.

no you dont need to. there are a few ways to get the chain on, that is just one. if you already have the front output in, then do what overland said.
