Default SYE costs in instalation?

i am somewhat handy and understand the purpose of an sye and everything..but if i shell out 200 bucks for one i need to know how much it would cost to have a 4x4 shop install it or if i could install it myself? i plan on installing my lift myself and have all of the appropriate tools to do so(other than an impact gun, hoping i can get by) so do you guys think i could do an SYE myself? but if not how much would it cost to have a shop do it?

Yes you can do it. If you can do the lift you can do the SYE. Never taken my Jeep to a shop except for gears in my ZJ. My guess would be at least 4 hours shop labor, shops here charge $90 per hour, so say $350 or more. If you follow the instructions provided, and read some write-ups you should be able to do it 2-4 hours.

I remember seeing a craigslist ad thing from a shop around here that was somewhere in the area of like 500 to install or somethin crazy like that. I got lucky and found a tcase with one already installed for sale. Needed a new tcase anyway so it worked out.
