So just brought home my 8.25 rear I'm swapping in and have a few questions about the SYE. I'm probably going to go the hack n tap setup so save some change. My question is, can I run a stock front driveshaft from a v8 cherokee with the SYE and 8.25 rear? I have an '89 cherokee with manual tranny and np231 TC. Any help at all is much appreciated. Thanks!

i have a 89 cherokee with a 4.5 inch lift a factory front driveshaft in the rear with a hack n tap was a little too short. its about 30 inches fully compressed. i ordered a front driveshaft from a 95 grand cherokee "ZJ" v-8 auto it is 33" fully compressed. i just got a text message from UPS a package was droped off at my house so when i get home i'll take some pics and post them around 5 pm to let you know how it worked for me maybe it will work for you.
