I'm thinking of converting my rear drum brakes to disk brakes. Seems pretty simple, just pull off the drums, remove the retaining pin and axle shaft, put the rear housing and disk on, replace the axle shaft and pin, put on the calipers and brake line and thats it. Anything i should know, or is this a dumb question and its pretty straight forward? Is summit the best place to buy new disks or should i go with used ZJ ones?

Yes I agree I would not waste any money on a D35. "Polishing a turd" is what I have heard it called.
