Default Switch dash cluster, do I need new sensors? XJ

Hi, Im going to be switching my 1998 jeep Cherokee's instrument cluster, with a new one. My current one just has lights if something is wrong, there are no exact gauges. The new one will be pulled from a scrap yard 1998 jeep Cherokee, and will have actual gauges that read measurements. I've heard multiple statements on this, will I need new sensors for the new type of instrument cluster, since it will no longer be just a idiot light, but rather actual reading gauges?

Nope. Just swap them. The same sensors feed the same info to the PCM.

You won't be the first one to perform this upgrade.
