I drove without the front just in the neighborhood just to see what it was like. It is scary. Truck leans every which a way even when braking. Rear is fine a lil shaky on the highway but nothing like the front.
i wont advise it to anybody the only reason i took my front off is i wanted to see what it was like so i took both of them off and was to lazy to get under there and put it back on. i do agree with you if you had to do some quick turning you would be screwed and i definetly would not drive on the interstate or anywhere over 55.

If I could find rear extension links for my sway bar I would use mine...I drive highway daily about 70 miles so I just get in the slow lane and stay away from people..lol
I have yet to see rear extended links but i think rough country sells drop brackets that drop the entire sway bar 3" i believe. I saw it a couple months ago but can't remember where.

Drop brackets are about all you'll find.
Extending the links will give you the EXACT problem I have, the end link almost rubbing tire.

Put your lift on and try it both with and without the sway bar. I took mine off when I first had the lift but later(3 months) re-installed it as I felt that I had too much body roll with the springs broken in. Glad I didn't cut it up or completely dispose of it.

Sounds like a plan..needs new bushing so if I put it back in it's a good reason to buy new ones..lol going to replace the bushing in the front one along with the top mount end link bushings...
I am planning on installing shackles and removing my ome AAL so i know it will soften up and probably will need the sway bar then. Usually i sell parts i take off but i kept this one for some reason...and probably will need it.

I am still undecided on the rear sway bar...Blue do you run yours without any modifications to it? I figure I'll drive it and if I don't feel safe I will replace it..Going to be putting some 3.75 or 4" backspaced wheels on soon..

Completely stock. The only thing I did was spray the bushings with silicone spray. Bolted in stock location and have not altered the bumpstops or anything.
