alright so today i went to look at my first potential car. a 2000 jeep Cherokee that has a 6 inch suspension lift, and 35in dunlop mudrover's. When i test drove it it went down the road kinda funny, it would kinda of sway. is that possibly caused by the over sized tires or the suspension lift?

Did it have a front sway bar on it? When they do that it is usually because it has been removed.
if there isn't one on(i don't even know where it is located) how much would one cost to replace? also what would be good rubber to run on them for a lot of wheelin and road travel?

its located on the front end of the vehicle. it goes through two bushings mounted on either side of the unibody and it connects to end links, that bolt onto the axle. without this attached the front end will feel very... "sway like" if you will. you can buy sway bar disconnects from almost any company that makes lifts for the cherokee, there everywhere just do some searching on google, or on here. as far as tires, thats a whole discussion in itself. im running 33" BF a/t and they work fine for me.Originally Posted by cooperk85

should i go ***** deep and get the JKS Quicker Disconects ones that cost 135 a side? or should i just go with the OEM ones that are $17/side? it is only $34 but is it a decision that i could kick my self in the *** for doing?
another thing i would like to know is if the trackbars could be part of the problem also depending on how old they are and how much they flex?

Get the JKS or fab up your own. There are tons of write-up's on the web about DIY disco's.
Stock sway bar links won't fit on lifted rig.
Trackbars?
There's only one.
