Taking off the rear sway bar will not have any major effects under normal driving conditions. The XJs that came with the UpCountry package didn't even come with a sway bar.

Taking off the front sway bar is dangerous. You can experience too much body lean and flip the Jeep over, especially if you are trying to perform emergency maneuvers.

I had mine off my wrangler and it obviously will flex better but you do experience more body roll on the road. Not so much that you will roll at 40 but it is slightly more dangerous... I'm pulling mine off my cherokee once I get it on the road.

I wouldn't worry about taking the rear off, but I'd have some quick-disconnects up front to keep it on the road.

the front sway bar is on there for a reason. it might not seem important but if you have to swerve to avoid something in the road then you could lose control because of how much your cherokee will lean now. i would be very very careful if i ran without a sway bar and would only do it if mine was broke and i was waiting for a replacement.

especially if you are lifted

2xs. Don't run without the front.

Yes do as others are saying and invest in some quick disconnects. Rustys off road has them for about $40. Driving without front swaybars isn't too bad until you have to swerve to miss something at high speeds. No bueno.

I took my rear sway bar off and the front off to fix the front.

I don't like the way it drives without the front on. Just waiting on parts to put it back on.
