I don't know about the size of the bushings but you def don't need to replace the sway bar unless it breaks in half.

Wish there was something automatic to keep the muds off on it's own
With all the mud it'll definitely not take long to break it into half.

I would measure it with a wrench, get a hold of some big metric regular wrenches and whatever one fits snug (28 mm or a 25) and go from there, I had the same issue when I got mine and from what I remember there's a 22 23 24 25 26 or 28 mm bushing set, if you were told 27 I bet they're wrong and the 25 won't fit.

Regardless of which way you choose to measure it, making sure you get the correct size is crucial. Jeep used several different sway bar sizes on the Cherokees. By measuring the bar yourself you can be sure that you'll only be purchasing one set. Check out this blog for 6 different ways you can measure your bar:

When it comes to stabilizer bars I don't think there is a specific size for any trim level. Best to measure like you did.

Good you shopped around for the best price. Although Rock Auto most of the time has the best price you also need to check shipping for commiting to a purchase. In your case as in some others I'll use R/A as a parts reference.
