my 95 is a 5speed, with idiot lights and no tach. my 96 has a tach and gauges. I swapped them and the tach, speedometer and amp gauge worked. oil pressure and temp didnt. any suggestions?the oil pressure gauge jumped to the max. So I put the old one back in. I have to have a tach and temp gauge. The reason I even tried the swap was that the check engine light came on today. I flushed the coolant as it looked like crap. it didnt come on again.???? Im thinking I should change the water pump for good measure. The 95 has an ODB I my 96 is ODBII. Its just wierd that the 95 doesnt have a tach and when I hooked up the 96 cluster the tach worked.

 

go get a 92-95 cluster with the gauges you want. should work

 

I'll give it a shot. Worse case I can add a tach and temp gauge. I hope.
