Swapping parts from a Limited Edition to a Base Model
Hello
Want to know how difficult will be to swap parts from a LE Cherokee to my base model cherokee.
Both are 1989 and 1988, my base model is in better shape overall, and the LE I can get for cheap cheap price.
Interested in swapping the electric windows, electric seats, steering column and its components (tilt and temp wiper switch), also the roof rack is way better than mine
A few other parts I can use, but those I have no worries about, like a better shape radiator.
Mostly interested in having better options in my XJ, just want to know if the electric harness in my jeep is prepared for this options, or if I will need to take some of the harness from the donnor
By the way, the donor has some pending periods to pay, in my country you have to pay each year for what they call "Circulation rights" sometimes when people do not pay for their cars for a few years, the debt to the goverment get's so high, that is better to part out the car than to pay the full ammount, that is the current situation with the LE XJ

I am in no way a renix expert.. But yes those parts should work with yours. You will definitely need some of the wiring harness' from the limited though. That I know for a fact. Things like the roof rack and stuff like that should be a direct swap.
