okay well is it fine to just pull off the sensors????and my u joints are popping just cruising around in 2 wheel...the axle shafts are loose and worn and im buying a new 3.5 lift so i figured it spend 70 bucks on a front axle and just swap it in while im doing the lift...saves me from doing u joints and everything

Well if you get one that's used you need to change the u-joints anyways. I wouldn't do an axle swap just because you don't want to change u-joints. That's a simple task to do. Me unless the axle tubes and housing are messed I wouldn't do an axle swap. I would pull the axle shafts and replace the ujoints. I could point you to some nice writeups. Also I would consider replacing the front driveshaft u-joints as well. A lift will stress old wore out u-joints trust me I know..

Here's a good writeup to replace the front axle u-joints.

Also might consider new unit bearing/hubs as well while you have it all apart.
