Default swapping dummy lights for factory gauges

today at the pick a part i grabbed a factory xj cluster with real gauges to replace the cluster with dummy lights. the wire plugs matched and the four ways worked, however i cant start the jeep yet because im polishing the valve cover. can anyone tell me if this cluster will work or if i will have to replace some ssensors for the real gauges?
thanks

You will have to replace the oil pressure sending unit and the coolant temp sensor (the one on the rear drivers side of the valve cover) and thats it.

did you make sure you got the electric speedo version, as i see you have a 95, and the older ones have a cable driven speedo, which will not work with yours

My 98 switched without a problem. I did not have to switch any sensors. I have a 5 speed manual & only difference was there is a bulb in green full time 4wd that mine did not have as I only have the part time light in original. I believe the 2 bulbs are for select trac option & I have command trac or visa versa.

Did this "mod" as well....straight forward...just make sure you get "sending units" and not "sensors" when you do this.....sensors are used for those idiot lights, and senders are for the gauges...good luck!
