Default Swapping doors - wiring issues - help

Hello

I swapped over 4 doors from a black XJ (that I was told was a 1991) to replace my rusty red ones from my 1991 (I planned on doing the whole jeep body in bedliner anyways).

I am a total newb and ended up cutting the wires to remove the doors and planned on rewiring them back together once I replaced my old ones. Well, most of the wires are the same color, but not all of them.

So I wired all the ones together that matched (color) and all the power windows work.....but not the locks. So I have the following wires left over:

Drivers front door

wires coming out of jamb (my red jeep) that don't match and haven't been connected to anything:
  • one brown wire w/red stripe
  • green wire
wires coming out of the new drivers side door (from the black jeep):
  • small green wire w/orange stripe
  • blue wire with light blue stripe
  • yellow wire
  • blue wire
  • green wire w/orange stripe

Passenger front door

wire coming out of red jeep door jamb:
  • purple wire
  • blue wire w/red stripe
wire coming out of black door:
  • white wire w/black stripe
  • green wire w/orange stripe
  • yellow wire w/green stripe
  • black wire
  • blue wire w/light blue wire

So im kinda lost on what to do......id like to get my locks working again

is there any kinda manual or something that may be helpful to me???

Thanks in advance for any advice!

The rear two doors were fine.....a few wires were diff colors but I pulled the interior panels off and could trace the wiring to each place so I could tell what each one did.....the front ones have so many more wires and its hard to trace because it seems like theres only 6-8 wires on the back of the 'block' behind the power window/lock switch but yet theres a ton of wires at the door opening.

All I can say is to remind that a wiring harness will have wires and ends for all imaginable options. Often there are extra wires and plugs. Power mirrors? Good luck!
