Talk about a true plug-n-play upgrade. Just take out the old, put in the new and now I have a complete set of working gauges instead of a bunch of idiot lights and the world's biggest fuel gauge.
Thanks to everyone here who let me know that this would be a simple project.
I did notice that there is a ton of dust and dirt behind the dash panels and I am going to clean it all well before I put it back together.
Since my rig is a 2000, it is starting to get the normal squeaks, creaks, and rattles common to any vehicle with a plastic dash. Has anyone here found something that I can put on the panels to help quiet the rattles and squeaks? I would like to be able to hear my radio and not all of the noises from the dash.
