Hey guys,
I swapped my ecu suspecting it was bad (code 27) after replacing the injectors. Now it will start right up then stall after about 3 seconds. Any tricks?
Thanks!

Ballast resistor on fender under hood. The power for the fuel pump goes thru the ignition for the first three sec then gets switched to go thru the resistor. Just jump the resistor. It is there to supposedly reduce noise from the fuel pump. It can be deleted entirely if you choose, was deleted in later models.
Hmm that wasn't it. The ecu numbers are supposed to be compatible. I guess it only runs for about 1 second, turns over, starts to idle, dies immediately. Any other ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I did, also, do the ECU reset (hold the battery cables together for 30 seconds to discharge the caps, key on, headlights on, headlights off, key off)
I'm only getting codes 12 and 55 (normal)

Old ecu back in and it runs, I guess maybe I got hosed. I'll try to return it and get another ecu.
