ok i have a 2.5 jeep cherokee now and i want to swap a v6 in it from another cherokee and there the same year but different models. i want to know if its a good idea to do to my jeep i drive everyday then to this other jeep i use for parts? i want to know if its possible to do an easy swap?

 

If its the 2.8l v6 I'm not sure it would be worth it. I dont know personally but all I hear is bad things about them..

 

The 2.8v6 is worse the the 2.5 4cylinder you have.

Most people that have the 2.8 junk it for a bigger engine if you want to keep it simple just get a gm 3.1 or 3.4 cyclinder.

 

You will lose a little torque going to the 2.8 V6... Agree, find a Camaro 3.1 or 3.4 if you really want to swap to a V6...
