I recently came into a deal on the complete drivetrain out of a 1988 cherokee, I own a 1996 cherokee, i want to swap the transfer cases out and was wondering if it is possible to use the slip yoke eliminator from the 231 in the 242??? also if anyone has done this swap what are possible problems i could run into?

s far as I know NO they are different t-case and will not work. THis is not saying with some creative machine work you couldnt get it to work.
