Ok so I have a jeep 1996 Cherokee country and i Want to put atleast a three inch lift on it what parts are nessesary for this? I have already ordered Skyjacker 8000 shocks. Do i need to relpace the shock coils? or just slap on the shocks? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Shocks will not provide any lift.

You will need to purchase (do do it right) new coils and Leafs. Also you will need to replace your rear rubber brake line.

Good place to start is www.roughcountry.com they will have all the parts you need and you can order without the shocks since you already got them.

I reccomend staying away from Add-A-Leafs (AAL's) Space for the coil is ok but I would want to upgrade them for my first lift and add spacers if you decide to go higher than 3in IMO.

your also gonna need an adjustable track bar or relocate your existing one(alignment will probably be necessary after lift) and probably want to lower your t-case or sye kit,although not highly reccomended a cheaper alternative to rear lift are blocks,i have them for now and have no problems
