Question suspension lift questions

i have a 96' xj and i want to put a lift kit on it. i was wondering what was a good top end lift kit that is good off road. i was looking at the 8in skyjacker but couldnt find any reviews on it.

Look at Rubicon express. They make real high quality lifts. Make sure you get a long arm lift too. And its not always about height remember.

if you are looking at a 8" lift you better be looking at 37" tires and full width axles. way to tall.

i think some lift stuff comes down to personal preference and budget. personally, when i did my lift RE was a very good product and i wanted something that would last for a while.

but recently i have been hearing bad things about their products as well as their customer service. a friend of mine had shocks go bad and they would not warranty them b/c where we live they salt the roads in the winter (imagine that), and the same person had one of his coil springs crack, yes, crack. which i have never heard of. and all they would do was send him one new spring, causing the jeep to not sit level. would not give two new ones for the same reason stated above.

but then again everyone has different experiences, i have been happy with my RE lift, and their leafs are very stiff.
