You cant body lift a XJ,its a uni-body. You can do a 2 inch BB lift though. Cost about 80 bucks

The cheapest way(not neccecarily the best) would probably be a set of shackles for the rear and coil spacers for the front. I personally would stay away from blocks in the rear or an add a leaf kit-just my opinion...

Like the other guys said there is no 'frame', so you cannot get a body lift since the body is the frame.

I would also stay away from the blocks at the back, rather use a longer shackle. It will also give you more flex at the back as well.
My signature details my lift, the block i have at the back has offset my rear pinion angle so I pick up vibrations in 2 wheel drive. (planning on changing it for a boomerang shackle soon)

Shackle/spacer. No blocks. Research options before you do anything. Learn what you're getting into. There is more than just getting a lift. Not necessarily for a Budet Boost, but just saying..

Red a boomerang is not recommended for a street driven Jeep as they can be unpredictable in a rough road situation like a big pothole. One side will Boomerang out while the other side may not and you will have a dangerous situation in the rear of your Jeep.

Many ppl do this and don't experience the sag and go for years without a new set of rear leaf springs.

yea but if your rear leafs are already shot, the add-a-leafs going to go sooner than you would think cause its supporting all the weight.... full leaf packs are the way to go, get them out of the way first. plus you can always add a shackle to them for additional lift.
