dont bother spending the money.... spend it on a new axle. Honestly beefing up the 35 is not worth it. You still have really small axle tubes and will bend the housing

Crazy, I was just looking into the superior upgrade. Read this and decided it wasn't worth the cost : [URL="http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticles/16722_building_dana_35/index.html"]

go get a junkyard Dana 44 for like 3-400 bucks and you will be set. the Dana 35 is a crap shoot and is not worth spending the money to even change the gear oil in it! (slight exaggeration). upgrading the dana 35 is like putting ducked tape over paper and saying it is stronger now.

Buy it fast!! That is a great buy where I'm at, the ford 8.8 is alot stronger than a Dana 44 and is rated to run up to 40 inch tires with out going to aftermarket shafts. If you find one with 4.10 gears you wouldn't even need to change gears to run any size tires the Cherokee will handle.

You would need to but spring perches, shock mounts, u-bolts. I would get this kit, http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/...ine-p-278.html
Also you would need to re-gear your front axle to 4.10's to match the 8.8. I'm not sure on the 8.8 yoke so don't know the exacts on driveshaft compatibility.
