You can get a blower off ebay for 100-300 and it does not have to be a T bird...Yes you will have to upgrade fuel system and that can be done with JY parts to... you will HAVE to have a wide band AFR guage... thats 300bucks.You need a Piggyback for the ecu.. that can be a few hundred to several thousands...Megasquirt would rock...

ya im having the hardest time finding where they got that kit though....

 

every single thing to build this can be had from a jy and just a little bit of metal work for bracket to hold supercharger...
MYself... ^ one i said in earlyer thread ( this is neat setup)... if you dont want a/c that would be easyest one.. just get the super charger mounted..to a braket off the A/C bracker and then id bet you can find a bracket in jy to bolt to block and suport rear of supercharger... get a intercooler off ebay or in jy off a turbo car...can remove fan.. put ele one on.. and bolt 2 pullys together on the old fan mount and then you can run second belt..
What im trying to say is.. given a nice JY with alot of cars... you could damn near walk away with 99% of everything you need.. just gota use your imagination...
BUT you still have to know what your afr is... and that can be done with a digital multimeter as all it tells you is voltage.. :}
run her lean with a forced induction = melted piston

Quick question for all that might know has any one put a corvet lt1 in a cherokee yet. Im only wundering cuz ive set my sites on this as a project.ive already done a vortec 350 but my 93 lt1 is gana be fun.thanks for any advice you might have. The reason why you mite ask what the heck or why you doing that is im hopeing to be one of very few jeeps to get into sled pulls.
