Summit racing wheels wont balance
I bought a set of summit racing D window wheels and am mounting tires and balancing them as we speak. the shop says two of the wheels are bent... the balance maching is saying to mount 4.5oz of weight on the inside and 6oz on the outside for the worst one. (yes the wheel is on the machine correctly) Has anyone ever had this happen and if i run these tires, will there be any driveability issues?

summitracing.com "Jeb" thier customer service guy was a D**K and tried telling me i cant return the wheels if tires were mounted on them because they cant re-sell them. i told him they shouldnt re-sell them anyways if they are out of round, or bent anyways. i sell parts for a living right now... you arent gonna b.s. me! lol anyways that doesnt fix my problem. Has anyone ever had this happen? can eccentrics be used?

I wasnt sure if its normal to have to add more weight for big tires. I am mounting 31" bfg all terrain k.o's on 15"x8 wheels

Well, Since you say that you work in sales then you should know that you need to call them back and talk to a supervisor to get anything done. And like you said there is No Way that they would be able to resale those wheels anyway.
And Yes, On some of the larger tire the will need to add extra wait. But it shouldn't be that much more for a 31". I had a 79 Chevy K10 Blazer that had 46" tires and they didn't need quite that much. Close but not that. The only reason I do know is I mounted and balanced them myself when working for a tire co.

Sorry to hear that you couldn't get any help. I work at Summit and I'm sure I can help you out. Please send me any customer info you have to customerservice@support.summitracing.com attn: Bryan 1202.
I'll take a look at the order and let you know what we can do. Everyone on this forum was a huge help to me when I was building my Cherokee, so now is my chance to give a little back. Summit doesn't want to see customers have a bad experience like this and neither do I.
