I need some protection for my 92. I don't want to go custom so any one have a good recommendation for a set of off the shelf sliders.

I also need a good roof rack (place for the hi lift and some lights)

Sliders can be made real easy on the XJ or bought as you desire. As for roof racks I run a Confer but they are out of business. I would look at many different fourms in the used area and you should find both a a reasonable price. If I see any I will post the url up for ya

I know they can be made easy, i just dont have the time or the skill to weld up a set. and my friends shop that was gonna build them for me is on some had times and cant do them (and i want to wheel harder stuff so need something there)

I have the ajs rock rails. I got them from jeepinoutfitters and really like them alot. They are very sturdy and I havent had the chance to test them out yet but I think they will do real good.

i just ordered a set of jcr stage 2 sliders, can't wait. they are very similar if not the same as the aj's rails. both are the same price and from what i understand are of excellent quality. whichever you choose i think you will be good to go

I have a Surco rack with hi-lift and lights and I love it. Also, I just ordered JCR stage 2 sliders today. I can't wait to get them!

i got a set of the rock rails from daystar and i absolutly love them they have been used and i would suggest to anyone with an XJ to put on sliders if you play in the rocks. they will pay for them selfs the first time you use them.
