Default suddenly loses all power

so i got a 93 cherokee a few weeks back. after a few days of driving it around it suddenly started to lose all power while driving, no warning at all. every gauge reads as it should. i replaced the crank sensor and it fixed the problem for about a week. and this morning on my way to work it loss power AGAIN. right after it dies it cranks forever without turning over. if i let it sit for about 10 minutes it fires back up. so now im at a loss for where to even begin to look/check next.
any tips would be appreciated fellas!

I would check the o2 sensors & the throttle position sensor.

Where did you get the cps from. After market one are hit and miss with a lot of miss. If you didn't get an OEM that's probably your problem.

I am currently having the same problem. I drove it into town and had lunch with a friend and had no problems. Stopped at the store came out and wouldn't turn over. Put a booster pack on it just for extra juice and finally cranked up. Drove about 2 miles down the road and it died. Now I have lost all power and won't even begin to crank. Checked the battery, crankshaft position sensor, and all the grounds that I could find and evrything seemed ok.I have a 2000 xj an any help will be appreciated.

if i checked the o2 sensor correctly it should be fine. but i noticed that there is a bracket thats its supposed to be attached to. mine was not, could it be that the bouncing it does from driving shorts a connection momentarily?
