I was driving out to my parents tonight along a local highway doing about 60mph when all of a sudden I have a sudden deceleration to about 40mph with no apparent reason why.
No sudden noises, bangs, knocks, or anything like that. No leaking fluids anywhere.
I pulled into a parking lot to check it out; no obvious problems that I can see.
I made for home along back roads doing no more than 40mph.
At one point as I was accelerating it seemed to be slipping. It felt like it was trying to shift but couldn't make it. It would rev a little then drop, rev then drop. It did that about 4-5 times, then I just stepped on the gas and it went into OD and got up to about 45 when I let off.
I baby'd it the rest of the way home.
When I get home I put it in park and the engine idles around 1100RPM, instead of under 1K.
Oil pressure was going up and down as well when it was reving up. In park oil pressure was around the first line or just over at idle. It would hold pretty constant around 40psi as I was driving, drops down when I take my foot off the gas.
Not sure what else to put here.
Please help, this is my daily driver/only vehicle and I have to work Friday.
Thanks everyone

Where did you get your TPS? When I changed mine, I spent 110$ at O'Rielly's for a brand new one. I have heard that getting used/cheapo can be a huge hit or miss. $50 seems pretty cheap, but if it works it works!
