Stupid Sensor question
I went to Advance auto parts web site and looked up "Cam Sensor", nothing.
I go to google and type in 1990 Jeep Cherokee Cam Sensor, and all that pulls up is the TPS. Am I retarded, or are those two different things?

CPS = Cam Position Sensor.. Most people use CPS and mean Crank position Sensor (CkPS). TPS is throttle position sensor
The Cam Position Sensor and Crank position sensor are what the computer uses to set the timing. The Cam sensor is the plastic disk inside the distributor, the Crank sensor is on the back of the motor.
