Stupid alarm system!!!!

ok so about 3 months ago i did the doorless mod and its awesome running with no doors when the weather is above 45 degrees. (im a very warm blooded guy) but when i did that i took the door "button" off so the lights and buzzer wouldnt go off when i had the doors off. sooo now my alarm system is freaking out. if i shut the jeep off and open the back doors the alarm sets. and no one but me knows that if u open the back doors again the alarm goes off. its so annoying. so i know i can just put the "buttons" back on and everything will be ok but i lost the buttons and dont wanna buy new ones. so how do i disconnect that stupid alarm system????????

Behind the drivers side kick panel theres a purple and yellow wire. I've heard that if you ground it to the body it will disable the alarm completely. But I'm not certain
