My 1994 Grand Cherokee tailgate is stuck. It hangs up at about 1/2 inch open...the locking mechanism is not fully releasing the hook. Short of destroying the interior panel to get to the lock from the inside, I can't figure out how to get the tailgate open. Any ideas?
