PEPPERHEAD

I want to put 6 1/2" speakers in the doors(2dr) of my 91 but do not want to cut the doors. I figured use 1/2" spacers and surface mount. But keeping them in the same spot as the current speakers the window crank hit the spacer so the window can only be opended part way. Don't want to move the speakers closer the the front of the door as that would look ghetto with the hole in the door panel. It is basically a beater but still. Are there sources for cranks that are 1-1 1/2" shorter than stock, or junkyard vehicles with short cranks that can be used. If not I'll just go with 5 1/4's in the stock locations.
