Structural integrity of front bumper
I know you wouldn't attach a winch to the front bumper, and it's certainly not a recovery point, but I need something to tie my canoe to on the front of the vehicle (the canoe lays upside down on top of the Jeep). Would attaching a D-ring for that purpose and that purpose only be considered a good idea? I don't imagine the forces presented by the canoe being tied down would cause any sort of structural damage, but I wanted to confirm.
