Ok so I just got a new cherokee today and after getting it home I realized that one of the lug nuts on the front drivers side wheel is stripped (the threads). The good thing is that I got it from a dealer so I am planning on taking it back to him tomorrow so he can mess with removing it. I was just wondering if any of you guys had any ideas for removal that I could try. I already tried grabbing it with vice grips and pulling out as I turned but had no luck. Any input appreciated.

Take the other four lugs off, then pull out on the wheel while spinning the nut.

I would let the dealer deal with it myself. Ive had the problem before but was lucky enough to get it off with vice grips.

 

you could try a nut splitter
