Ok so after discovering that i only have one caliper bolt on my passenger front 30 & that it was stripped, i rechased the threads with a tap & almost got it to hold, BUT it popped out within a few days & now im left wondering what to do next before the other one fails... anything u guys could reccomend would be awesome!!

Aren't the threads in the Knuckle? I had the same problem. I wound up over tapping and installing a Helicoil kit. Felt really strong when I installed it and was holding up fine last time I checked it.
If you aren't fond of Helicoils, my local hardware store sells an insert kit. Its a hollow steel sleeve that is threaded on the inside to the bolt you are installing and threaded on the outside two sizes bigger so the insert has plenty of meat and good thread engagement. PO stripped out one of the bolts on my dif cover, so I used the insert to repair the thread. Went really easily, but I haven't installed the new axle, but I suspect it will be as strong as the rest over time.

I changed my calipers this last weekend, and stripped the lower caliper guide pin thread in the knuckle - seems like a very common problem. M8 x 1.25 helicoil is the way to go. Use a 21/64th drill, and the helicoil kit (widely available Reillys etc), one hour later and you are good to go. And when you put it back together, it is a very low torque setting, like 20 ft/lb, and use red threadlocker. There is a huge temptation to overtighten this bolt since you think it holds the caliper on, but all it does is guide the caliper float back and forth.
