I went to replace the radiator on my 00 xj tonight and the radiator I took out had a thread in connector on the lower transmission line, the one I got from the junk yard has a pressure clip type? Why would that be and how do i fix it so it works?

They said it was for a 2000 what style should a 2000 xj have? What year is the wrong one for?

 

te one you bought is wrong for your year jeep

 

So you are saying the one I bought is not for a 2000? What is it for? I thought that the newer xj has the clip in style...I was surprised when I saw that my jeep didnt have that style.

 

google it until you find pic that matches the one you bought

 

sorry for the poor quality pics, the first one is what was on my jeep the second is the one I got from the salvage yard.

 

Take it back, They probably had the wrong year listed, or knowingly sold it to you, themselves assuming they were all the same.
