right below the shifter i hear a very faint knocking

happens when im in park at random times but mostly when in gear and at a stop light or stop sign

any ideas?

i almost sounds like exhaust pipe knocking...like a broke hanger, but it looks good underneath

 

TC shift handle knocking. Not uncommon.

 

how do i go about fixing it?

 

Just pull back on it very little and it should go away.
