Default Strange electrical issue when using bluetooth OBD-II thingy

Here's a strange one you guys might be able to help me with. I have one of those bluetooth OBD-II readers that you plug into the port under the dash and get real-time readouts of engine parameters, read and clear codes, etc. I believe it's the OBDLink MX, but I can check if it helps.

Anyway, when it's plugged in and I lock the doors with the key fob, 90% of the time the horn does't beep when the locks close. With it unplugged, it beeps when I lock it consistently. Not that I really care, but it's got me scratching my head. Everything else works just like it normally does, including the door locks themselves.

Any idea what might be happening?

LMFAO

Simple solution. Unplug it before you get out.
