stopped & gas gauge reads F

Default stopped & gas gauge reads F

Jeep just stalled and won't start BUT the gas gauge needle is pegged to FULL, usually it sits on E when stopped. Is this a sign of what's wrong - before I start tearing out the pump, filter and checking electrical?

it is possible you lost power to both the guage and pump,do you here the pump when you turn on the key?

sending unit could have crapped out maybe you rjust out of fuel

the first thing to do would be put a fuel pressure guage on it.
