Does anyone know the actual OEM tire size for the 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country? So far I have seen some sites say 215/75/15 and some say 225/70/15. When I bought the Jeep the previous owner had 225/75/15 on it and around here that tire is nearly impossible to find. I have searched all over for the answer and have come away with different answers. What's a common tire size that I can put on this if it is stock. I have seen some say 235's but didn't say what the tire size actually was. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you.

My service manual lists the 225-70-R15 for that model, which is what I have...I wondered about it also....

Not to highjack the post but I am seeking a similar answer. what is the biggest tire that will fit OEM rims (offset) and not hit the lower control arm? I'm not concerned with height as I have 2" lift. Have 31x10's now but they hit the lower control arm. Looks like 235/75-15's SHOULD work. anyone?

By offset do you mean you have spacers?

235's are about the biggest a stock height XJ can use without rub somewhere.

Look on the door. My 95 country says 215/75/15 but if you look it up it says 225/75/15.

30x9.5 fit with no rubbing on the lower control arm. Full size spare also fits with no mods.
