its on craigslist. Its posted for sale with a 96 xj with 230k. Its one of those "Make me an offer" deals and the tire carrier (I'm assuming) is for sale with it but not installed. The seller mentioned the word scrapping in his ad and I just cant let that happen lol. So pretty much if its not bent up or in bad shape what would top dollar on it be. basically so I cant make an offer on the carrier or the whole jeep. Its been a long time (few years) since I saw one sell on ebay and from what I remember it sold for around $200 with the bumper.

Ahh. Yeah the bumper is integral unfortunately. I think guys pick them up for $80 from a JY or so? If you really really want it offer him $100, but keep in mind this will leave the XJ without a bumper (maybe trade?), a scar in the rear right quarter panel, and it can only hold about a 31" tire. If he doesn't want to part out in the first place I doubt he'd go for it though.
