Hi everyone, i have been searching for 2 or 3 days now, and i cannot find any of the previous speaker threads that include specs or diagrams for jeeps. So, if someone has the information im going to ask for, i am going to make write up that includes taking off the door panels, tracing all the wires, picture, everything, the whole nine yards. So for the questions
(2000 Stock, Cherokee sport, doesnt have an amp if i remember correctly, although i havent see it in awhile
)
I know its the wiring because i already pulled and tested the speakers to make sure they worked correctly by testing it in the back slots.
What gage wire is stock or should i use a different gauge? If so, what Gauge?
Any wiring Diagrams i would like to see.
Any special tools needed to remove stereo or anything of that sort.
Anyone do this before and have documentation?
Thanks guys. I'll be home from my internship either this weekend or next and will do the repair and post a well detailed writeup.

Come on.. Noone??? I'm just trying to get as much good information as possible so i can make a write up as good as possible. I found a couple of previous threads, but they all either conflict with the size of gauge or are just halfed ***** fixes..

I hate to drag up a dead thread, but perhaps someone has either a diagram or guide to running to speaker wire to the passenger door speaker? Both my front speakers were dead but I followed a guide to fix the driver door speaker. Now my passenger door speaker is all that's left.
From the speaker, the wires are blue with a black stripe and blue with a red stripe. I traced them through the door and into the harnesses around the fuse box, but saw a pair of each lead back towards the rear gate, then one of each in two different harnesses.
Does anyone know which wires to splice into to run new wires from?
Any help is appreciated.

I know little about stereo installation. I bought a harness adapter to install my Pioneer stereo, but I have to idea where to match the wires to the connection points on the stereo. A google search led me to installdr(dot)com but the instructions were only available for a 97 model and newer.

dont know if this was linked or not but: http://www.modifiedlife.com/1990-jee...iring-diagram/
every radio color code known to man.
be carefull the blue/white wire is hot and kept blowing fuses when i had it hooked up as a speaker wire, because i have NO GREY/WHITE wire, which is listed on several years, and nobody lists the Green/white wire, which i assume is doing what the gray/white is listed as doing. can't be sure cause i am pretty sure the left rear speaker it goes to is blown up.
also this is for a 90 year. the drop down menu on the right will have the other years. late
