My Cherokee seems to be every so slightly lifted -- like maybe an inch higher than most -- but I am wondering if it's just an illusion, since I have slightly oversized tires on it.
Can someone tell me what the distance, in inches, is from the center of the axle to the edge of the rear wheel arch trim (fender flares)? Mine is an '88... not sure if stock fender flares changed much over the years. I measure mine at 16.75" or so when sitting flat, and I have been carrying a tape measure with me to measure XJ's that I see parked here and there. Most are a bit lower, but I figure there's a good chance that's due to spring sag. Many are the same clearance.
